Columbus + Darleen
In 2012, Columbus and Darleen Smith founded TOWER Ministries acting on a desire to reach those disengaged with attending church services. For over two decades they have ministered the saving grace of Jesus Christ to families in crisis centers and men in the correctional system.
An ordained Elder in the Church of God in Christ, Columbus has served for over thirty years in various capacities within his local church. He's also served as chaplain for the Minnesota Timberwolves for over twelve seasons and works with at-risk male youth as a mentor and community coach.
Darleen is a teacher within the public school system and has been involved in children's ministry for over twenty years within her local church.
They have been married over 31 years and have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
